Elder Charolais Farms was established in 1991 when the Elder family decided to diversify their commercial cattle and grain operations. The farm is located 2 miles South and 2 1/2 miles West of the town of Coronach, and six miles off the Montana, US border. |
The purebred operation consists of 110 purebred cows, 70 commercial cows and a pen of purebred registered bulls that are sold privately off the farm. The farming operation includes 2500 acres of grain land as well. Both Donna and Judy work at the Poplar River Power Station full time. We have consigned cattle to the Cypress Sale in Moose Jaw, The Alliance Sale in Yorkton, as well as Canadian Western Agribition. |
