We have been breeding Charolais for over 20 years. Our program has been to develop a performance herd of sound, functional, polled cattle which have high maternal traits and good disposition. To reach these goals, we have used an extensive AI program using industry leading genetics. The herd has always been enrolled on the CCA Charm Program and we used EPDs as selectoin too. The use of the Roblin and Douglas Bull Test Stations have also helped us to achieve our goals.
We are founding members of the Hi-Weigh Breeders group, which currently hold an annual Female Sale in December and a Bull Sale in March of each year. In 2009 we will also be consigning bulls to the Size Matters Bull Sale in Canora, SK with Sliding Hills Charolais and Mangels again for the third year. The coffee is always on and we would be more than happy to show you our herd.
