The family of Gerald Adrien Joseph Lanoie, of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, is deeply saddened to announce his passing on May 29, 2026, at the age of 73.
Gerald was born in Assiniboia, SK on March 11, 1953, and grew up on the Lanoie farm and ranch near St. Victor, SK. Gerald and his wife, of 53 years, Denise Lynn lived on the ranch for the first few years of marriage until eventually moving to the family farm by St. Victor. Where they operated under the name Lanoie Bros. Charolais until their dispersal in 2013.
Gerald was fortunate to live his lifelong passion of farming – doing what he loved for many years before retiring to Moose Jaw. Gerald will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He had a vast array of friends that, depending on the name they used to greet him, you could tell how they knew him. Gerald’s passion was farming, but his heart belonged to his family. Nothing compared to enjoying time with his children, grandchildren, and siblings.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
